| Ok, this is what happened. I was surfing online and sipping some soda. I accidentally knocked my can and the soda dripped all over my generic Logitech keyboard. I went to get paper towels and quickly wiped the keys so that they wouldn't get sticky. However, some of the soda and water (from the paper towel) seeped in between the keys. I never dropped any form of liquid on my keyboard before, so I waited for the keybpard to dry up. After it dried up, I noticed that some of the keys did not work, such as the letter "S" and the letter "B". That can be explained because the soda seeped it between those letters. Other keys were affected, but I can't mention them all. Now is there anyway I can fix this problem? I'm typing this from my laptop and I can't use my desktop. Also, I can't use dropdown menus. I can't click on a specific thing. Like when I try to click something in a drop down bar, the bar keeps going up and down. I have no clue what to do now, so I am hoping someone can help me? Anyone have any ideas? Many thanks in advance and lots of appreciate for any suggestion/help. | ||

| My suggestion is take it appart if you are able and soak the effected board in a alcohol bath for a few hours... or if you have it use electronics contact cleaner... wipe it down with a clean towel with alcohol on it... then let it to dry completely... reassemble and try it.. I know some guys in wisconsin at a shop that done this with a laptop keyboard and brought it back from Lemonaid hell.... Good luck | ||

| I saw a guy take one apart and put it in the dishwasher..It worked, but I would never do that on mine! You can gently remove the keys a few at a time, and then clean the area and keys with alchohol (Windex with cotton swabs will also work) You might need a dab of die electric grease on the keys, even vasoline will do the job if you are "Hard up" If it went way deep in the keyboard, then you will have to completely tear it apart. | ||

| Thanks for the adivce guys! I would have replied earlier, but my keyboard doesn't work and I'm typing thus on my laptop. I'm goign to try $Solid$Necro's advice first since I have both Windex and cotton swabs. If all goes wrong, then I'll gladly try Twisted's suggesztion. Thanks for the sweet advice. If anyone has any that can help me out, it would be appreciated. Thanks! | ||
