| My Optical drives are causing windows to take up to 20 mins to load, and making windows XP pro run like im using it with 128mb ram But after i swapped three cables, and tried one drive or the other it just always does it, but witout the drive hooked up, perfect superfast load times, and windows runs in its flawless ways Can the drive both actually be dead, they still run windows disks during boot, they spin and nothing is indicateing there death, but only when one or both of the drives are hooked to the PC does it lag horrid like Anybody know whats wrong here? One drive is a Lit-On-It DVD-rw DL and the other is a BenQ 52x CD-rw I used my cheapo DFI cable, and a few cable that i used to use before i got the Yellow UV cables | ||
