Dell Monitor

I currently want this moniter since my stupid CRT is terrible and it is a about to die very soon!

I am usually not a good deal hunter, so i am going to need some of your help to find me a good deal.

I do not mind buying a computer with this monitor as long as it is cheaper than the current price for it.

Well I just got the 2005FPW for Christmas yesterday. So far its awsome and no issues. Only thing I've found is slight backlight leaking but its very minimal and only on the black screens.

Edit: I get deals from Dell in my email. I haven't gotten any in the last week though. They only last like 5 days I think.

I would just get a HDTV for that much much cheaper and bigger.

Yeah that might be a 30" monitor but with the resolution of a 17" monitor. That is not a good combo.

UP, Id say wait until the 5th of January. That is when the 30" Dell monitor is coming out the 24" will drop in price probably then.

I have the 2005FPW and it freakin' rocks. I had never considered an LCD prior to getting this one, but the deal was too good to pass up. Less than half price. There is no way I can go back to CRT with my main rig. You just need to be patient and wait for them to offer a killer deal on the bigger one.

Any new information on this new 30 inch monitor?

I remember reading about it but I have no information on it because everyone keeps reffering to it as THE 30 INCH MONITOR.

That may be true, but...
1. The person who buys this monitor is obviously not concerned with "more cost-efficient methods"

2. Do any mainstream (non-flight sims) games have support for dual monitor resolutions?

now i got a quick question... do any games support that resoultion? if not wouldnt they look streched?

Oh and.. BTW. If he's gonna use or someday want SLI, he won't be able to use 2 monitors.

One of my relatives has this beautiful 24 inch widescreen!

He has got his X-box 360 and his cable hooked up this monitor as well as obviously his computer!

It looks great!!! AMAZING!

As most of you know I do not game much but I do a lot of multi-tasking as well as play hours of flight sims with other people online! It just taxes your system a bit but as stronger graphics cards come out I plan to upgrade.

Maverick Apex Elite Expert Tech	Well I just got the 2005FPW for Christmas yesterday. So far its awsome and no issues.
