Default Best modular powersupply

What is the best modular power supply in your opinion? Right now I'm thinking about getting a OCZ modstream 520w but im not sure if there are any better ones that arent too expensive. Any suggestions?

I've had great luck with my Hiper. The OCZ is a good PSU but I don't care for the connectors. I had the same problem with an Ultra PSU, the cables can get knocked loose. That won't happen with the Hiper.

Check out the e-power Tiger, its also a 550 and is made with the same internals as the OCZ from what I understand. Anandtech rated it better than the top Emermax PSU, look at the review.

It does look Pimp, but the reviews are definately iffy. Check this one out. Its the PSU that BA mentioned. Weve also got a review of this product here at Pimprig which can be found HERE

I have one thats been in use for 2 months now with zero problems, I just hope they keep making them for the changing technology, whenever it comes.

I can't validate if the guts are the same as the OCZ, but it was a nice bit of hardware. Check out my review:

If I had to buy one now I'd buy an Enermax Liberty PSU.... It's nothing fancy (looks) but it is very stable
and, very important, higly efficient & very quiet....

I would give my recommendation to the Antec NeoHE series. I'm using the 550W model, and it works excellent. I've always been a fan of Antec, becuase with them, it's just plug it and forget it! I've never had one die on me!
