Default I've got a nice new video card, but don't know what motherboard to get...any ideas?

I just got an ABit Fatal1ty X800 XL video card, and a match set of OCZ Platinum Series (2-3-2-5) (2 x 1GB) PC 3200 Ram. What would be a good choice for the mobo to run the system? I'm planning on buying an AMD Athlon 64 x2 4600+ or 4400+ proc. Originally I thought about just giving in and going with an ABit mobo, but I've had nothing but problems with their stuff in the past. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help,
-atr3yu-

I'm with T2 on the DFI , i have an Abit Fatal1ty AN8 SLi , ran it for two weeks, removed a HDD and went to boot up BLAMO!!! bios took a crap and i had to RMA it** after four days of talking with tech support and them giving me the run around, saying it must be this or that even after i told them what steps i had taken to diag. the problem***. Lucky for me Abit is just up the freeway a ways from me. Also although i know a lot of people love Abit and all , if you look at thier forums , it seems the newer boards they're putting out are haveing alot of problems. It might just be me but IMO it seems thier quality is going south. My #1 would be DFI, #2 Asus

What do you guys think about the DFI LanParty UT RDX200 Cross-Fire AMD Motherboard. I know the Fatal1ty x800 xl isn't crossfire compatible, but I'm liking the layout of the components on the board. Spacious, with room for a waterblock on the south bridge. I know someone was complaining about the tight fit on their DFI board.

It has only got Sata no Sata2 and the USB 2.0 Performance is not the best.
If you go for a Crossfire Board you would want one with ULi 1575 Southbridge not ATI SB450.
Something like the ABIT AT8.
And why is the Fatal1ty x800 xl not Crossfire compatible?

I happen to have received one yesterday and will be firing it up over the weekend. I'll post an update here once I'm able to get it up and running.

I believe all cards x800 and up are crossfire compatible I dont see why this Fatal1ty would be different. I have a X2 4400 for sale only used it for a couple months. If intrested PM me.
