| Apex Elite Tech  |  H-L Data storage I aquired a set of H-L dvd-rom and dvd-ram cd drives from a used gateway.But the performance seems poor at best.I ran fresh diagnose on them and they failed the grade.Does anyone know about these drives or maybe they need a better driver?Jo | |

| Apex Tech Maniac Supreme  |  I have a H-L combo and it's fine. I remember reading somewhere about DMA settings affecting CD/DVD performance on certain drives. Check Nero, maybe you can find something in their FAQ section. If you post the model info maybe I can help you find more about it. | |
