Default USB to USB transfer software

I've got a USB to USB transfer cable. I cannot find the capability in XP to use it. Does anybody know of any software available online that I can download to use?

Thanks!

See if this helps. There's a driver linked on this page for a product called PC Link.

Here's another on this page, similar product called PCLINQ

I suggest you determine the brand / manufacturer and check their site. Get the right drivers.

thanks for the reply. I don't think that one will work. Usually in the box on the cable is a circuitry that requires the drive. The one I have is without such a box. It's just a USB A to USB A with , I guess, the connections cross-overed.

Laplink has a USB to USB capability, but I think it needs the special cable too.

Ok, thought you had the transfer cable with the box/chip.
Then I saw this:

Transfer files via USB bridge cable. Free trial version of the software. Maybe this will do ya.
