| Apex Advanced Techie | I just received my replacement hard drive from WD because my original is making an awefull high pitch whine that is driving me crazy. I noticed that my replacement has a different model number then my original. The original is WD200BB-00CLB0 and my new one is WD200BB-00CVB0 CEN-TALON-XL2 7200QD (Invader XL3). I can't find anything on WD's site to figure out if there is any difference between the two drives. Anyone have any idea? Thanks. | |

| I doubt your getting jipped or anything. I also looked and couldnt find anything. My guess is that the model you have is a different revision of the hd. The probably fixed some glitches or something. So they put a new model number extension on it to show the revision set. | ||
