Default -5v isnt a negative

hey i got an Antec neopwer about 3 months ago and i just noticed this problem, when i hooked up a pc speaker to my mother board.
In Windows i use hardware doctor which is a hardware monitoring software that comes with the ABIt Nf-7 board. im using that, and for some off reason it shows the -5V at 3.55V and turns red and starts beeping at me like its about to explode.
has anyone else had this problem before or does anyone know what to do to fix it....

Yea same thing happens with mine. I think it has something to do with the ATX 2.0 standard.

I had the same thing with 2 of Hiper's "Type R" PSUs - all are ATX 2.2 spec, the modular PSUs showed exactly the same +3.55v, the normally wired ones don't. As for "fixing" it - you should have an "ignore" or "stop monitoring" option when the alarm message pings up.
