anyone have any info on this? i hear they can be used on PCs. I heard about this in a PSM mag and was wondering if can be used on PCs as well as PS2s. this thing is $1299 on eScience.ca! i was thinking of gettin one of these instead of an LCD screen..

I used one a while back but that was to play on the playstation. This was a while back and may have been an earlier version. The one I used only had S-Video connectors, so I guess if your GFX card has S-Video out you could use it no problem. it wasn't the best quality so you woul need to use a low screen reolution whilst using.

But as I said, I used one several years back, things may have moved forward since!

i would think that things have moved forward, people have been using these things in dentist's offices to help reduce/eliminate the fear associated with some dental operations. it supposedly has 2 TFT LCDs w/180,000 pixels (total?), so i don't think i would be using a low resolution. after all, its supposed to give you the impression you're watching a 62" screen from 2 inches away.

haha! Funny you should mention that! My dentist put it on for me to watch whilst putting in my braces. He suggested I watch the film seven whilst he done it but I thought I might start getting jumpy so I decided it was a better idea for me to watch the kids option......being antz!
