I was wondering which of my two monitors I should use. Ihave na Sony M51 LCD 15'' and a MAG 17'' CRT monitor

I'd imagine you're the only one who could really answer this, but I'd opt with the CRT. Bigger screen and higher resolution

DEFINITELY the CRT. Looking at the specs of the LCD it has a really weak contrast ratio plus they don't even list a response time?! (two most important ratings for an LCDs performance)

Not only that but there is the extra inch you get from the CRT (LCDs measure their screen size in actual viewable area whereas CRTs measure the entire size of the monitor face and usually the actual viewable area for it is about 1" smaller than the rated CRT monitor size). That extra inch could help you determine that the barrel you see in the distance in CounterStrike is actually a crouched terrorist aiming at you. For gaming screen real-estate is very important.

yes & get yourself a good 19'' CRT or bigger if you can

i got a 17'' CRT & my friend got a 19'' CRT & let me tell you what a difference
now i'm looking to buy myself a 19'' or even a 21'' CRT all my games are going to be much more fun to play with , i'm hook i wanna play on bigger screen my 17'' is now way to small for me
