DDR Question

I've found a local retailer (they're even on my way home from work

) and they have DDR333 PC-2700 256M sticks for $36.95, which I figure with no shipping would be worth it. But the kicker is, they are made by a company called APACER. I've never heard of them before, and the only reviews I can find are at foreign sites. Have any of you pimps had any experience with APACER ram? I don't want to dump my cash on these only to have them be crap. Assistance is greatly appreciated.

I think it is a generic brand.
I had a stick of 256 of DDR 2100 and after a few weeks of use, I was experiencing irregular reboots and weird windows erros.

After I purchased Samsung DDR 2700 256 mb. All my problems went away. Since it was generic, I couldent get a RMA and get it exchanged.

Thats something to think about.

I had some PC-66 APACER SDRAM that worked fine, but wouldn't OC for crap. But it worked. I guess it depends on what you want out of your system. You want it stock, it should work. You want to OC, go for Crucial XMS.

Thanks for the replies. I just looked at Crucial and I can get the same sticks at 6ns for for only $41.99 plus free shipping. I won't have it today, but it'd be here on Monday. Cool.
