Default Wireless KB & M

My wife's wireless mouse died the other day. After two days with the corded replacement I pulled out of the junk box ........ we are both desperate for a new wireless set.

My wife doesn't need anything too fancy, she uses the PC mostly for e-mail, internet, mahjongg, and picture editing.

I have the Logitech MX700 Duo on my gaming rig, which I love.

So,

Can anyone recommend a cheap, but good set for my wife?

Or, can anyone recommend a new kick butt set for me (I would give her my MX Duo).

Or, should I just order another MX Duo?

Thanks. Put

I use and swear by THIS one.
However I can get it at any store for $69.00 , I wonder why Newegg's price cost more ???
I've had the MX700 but like this combo much betta.

What about the Logitech diNovo ( http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Produ...82E16823126138 ).

a little pricey, but definitely kick butt.

Hey all, thanks for the responses.

Stereomod, the mouse that just died was a cheapy set from WalMart (Micro Innovations I think). Granted, it worked flawlessly for a year (I suspect that Conan the Bar-BABY-an ..... or Noah as I call him killed it), but I think I will stick with big players this time.

The DiNovo is cool, but definately too rich for my blood.

Hey NoSlak, version 2.0? Or version 1.0? Does the scroll wheel still click? I felt an MS mouse recently with a smooth (no click) scroll wheel making it useless for weapon selection.

I found the MS Wireless Optical Desktop Ver. 2.0 for $104 CDN online. For reference, I can get the MX Duo for $80 CDN. I would be willing to spend the extra $30, but hard to justify when I already know (and like) the Logitech set.

I have 2.0, the wheel does not click but I know what you mean but this one works alot better in games for switching weapons, my last mouse sucked in that way. The wheel scrolls sideways as well ; for what I dunno but it does. Well it will move a webpage from left to right.
