Unhappy Blown up PSU

well i really screwed up this time, i had had unpluged the small fan on the back of my psu (because i need an extra molex for a day),

while i still had the large one on the bottem running, then l accidentally turned off the large fan, and low and beholed, while i was trying to fall asleep, my psu overheated, and fried. (scared the sh*t out of me)

so i am in the market for a new PSU. and since my old one is the cheep type that came with the case, i figured it would fry sooner or later, so i have some money to spend, and am looking to the pimps here, to give me some good recomendations.

ill be looking for one my self, but if you want to help me find a good one here are some specs.

my mobo has a 20 pin atx connector, if it comes with a 24 pin, with an adapter that be ok,
i have 2 hds, cd rom, a 9800 xt , and quite a few fans running etc. so i would prolly need +400w
i do have a sata drive, so if it had sata power connecters, it would be nice, although i do have an adapter.
does not have to look really nice, i can mod it my self
and as a price range, i am not really sure, because i dont have a ballpark of average 400w psu

any recomendations are greatly apreciated.

I own the OCZ PowerStream 520W. And this thing us awsome. Most of the cables are already sleveed. Every connector you would ever need. The finish is beautiful. Has adjustable voltage rails.

Heres a link to it. http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...m_power_supply
I think newegg has em for about 140. I highly recommend this.

Ultra X-connect 400w are $39.99 with $30 mail in rebate. Ultra X-connect 500w are $69.99 with mail in rebate.

I'd reccomend them quiet, beautiful and stable power. The modualar cables are nice but they dont bend as easy as the "old" style so they are a bit harder to hide (but but easily do able).

If you aren't looking for bling, Fortron makes kick ass power supplies with active PFC for around $60 for 400Watt. SuperFlower makes a 450Watt modular PSU for $70.
