Again With The Ram...

well i just in my new ram 2x 256meg Crucial pc2700 for my system i got it to replace some cheap ram i got "samsung" pc3200 but i still can't get it to run stable at any faster timings then 2.5-3-3-6?
don't know what's up i'm confident that that ram can be run faster... here's the specs.

a7n8x deluxe
xp1700+@166*9+1503
above ram slots 1,2
350 generic psu
1 case fan
24x LG cdrw
80 gig 7200hd
Gainward gf3ti200 golden sample 128mb.

try slots 1 and 3, those are the dual channel ones... and with mine (single stick though), I just set it to "agressive" timings and it still purrs.

That actually made it less stable.

Edit again:
I ran it through pc mark a couple times and compared it to others i've run, and it's a little (75ish) points higher on the mem score with the same timings.
