| You just might want to hold off a little bit. I ran across this little blurb and thought you may want to check it out. Quarter-inch thick, cheap, and efficient! | ||

| organic LEDs are supposed to be really cheap. low priced but high quality. and with the current silicone on glass stuff just like LCDs it will be readily avalible. unless they are haveing some kind of production problem makeing the stuff. they already have organic led displays on the market as you know. and they respond instantly. no flicker. no traces in highspeed movement like on LCDs. very promising. unless sony puts one out first. then forever OLEDs will have the reputation of being expensive, unreliable, and fire prone. | ||

| Err, I doubt quality will be dependant on Sony...but obviously everyone can have their own opinion of Sony's equipment. I also doubt they will be cheap when they first come out, and I do recall hearing about problems in the production process of it (where I worked previously). I'll definitely be waiting for one as LCD/TFT prices sure haven't dropped enough and the quality is still crap compared to the standard cheap monitor. | ||
