Default Power Supply Fan Speed

Hi, for severl months now I have been running my Coolmax 550W black PSU without any problems. It has a 12cm fan and a fan speed controller on the back with 3 settings: low, auto, and high. Ever since I installed the PSU, i have kept it on auto and didn't really think about it. I was thinking about it today; would it be better to run it on high all of the time? The psu puts out noticably more air when it is on high, and any difference in sound is drowned out by my other fans so it don't hear anything different. Would it be a good idea to keep it on high or does it really matter? Thanks.

Run it as high as you can without it bothering you. The greater the airflow the longer it will last without fireworks. Thermal run-away is a bizitch.
