cd writers??!!

I have bought a cr rewriter and nero software i have installed them both but when i write to a blank cd it says its all going fine and ends by saying 'Burn completed successfully' but it doesnt actually do anything to the cd. the cd is still registered as a blank cd when i look at it in my computer.

Any of you guys help??

Are you making sure that the "simulation mode" is not checked and also that the "no multi session" is chosen?

Make sure your actual drive is selected as the burner and not neros own image maker. If that fixes it, check your folders, you've probably got a few 700Mb files somewhere.
