Default PCI card moveing

My tv card and raid card are next to each other. When I watch tv and do something in the background I get static on the tv screen. I figure it's interferance and can be solved by moving one of the cards. My question is if I move the RAID card will windows be able to boot? The RAID card is the boot device.

You should be able to, and if not you can reset it.

And are you sure it's not your cable quality? Oh, wait, NVM, you prolly have Charter, they're pretty good. I'm too far out for that and get crap for reception.

I'd move the tv card first though if there's any risk

Ok I moved the card with no problems. Windows treeted it like new hardware and just installed the drivers and I was good to go. But I still have the same problem. When I watch tv it is really clear but as soon as I do something else I get little static line that seems to go along with the harddrive light. When the drive light start to blink I start to get the static. So I guess I will just deal with it.

You could coat the card in lead...

Seriously though, is there some kinda of material you could either put one card in or maybe put in between the cards to hopefully kill the interferance. Maybe take a dead PCI card, cut the contacts off so it doesnt get any power, warp the crap out of it with something and put it between the two cards. May not help but its worth a shot??
