Everytime i try to burn a cd, i receive a focus tracking error. If anybody has any suggestions, that would be great. Thnx

im using xp pro, intel pentium 4 2.2 ghz, 512 ddr , geforce fx card, onboard sound, onboard nic, and to burn, i generally use nero, but no burning program has worked for me lately.

Try updating your firmware. Find out the model number of your burner and go to their website. Firmware should be under downloads section.

First try cleaning the lens and/or trying a different brand of CD-R, those are the most common issues to cause that problem.
