Yes, I did it with Midnight Blue. All you have to do is short the green and black pins on one.

still kinda confused, will it provide constant power to my video card then? And will that hurt it?

420 just to a video card sounds like overkill to me. But then, I'm dumb

aye. Unless you're using like 2 250w'ers or have a pelt somewhere in the loop a 420w ought be fine (unless you'r OCing a Preshott and a 6800 Ultra, FX 5900 series card). Also you might want the vid card PSU to be responsible for say the opticals or the hard drives too. Too little draw can be bad.

Ive heard about all the complaints of no draw or too little draw and stories of psus crapping out, but new psus are garunteed to run on no draw for an infenite amount of time.

Also im going to be running my 4 12 inch cold cathodes on a differnt line on the powersupply, i just NEED a powersupply for that dang 6800. Because my 520watt is just not pushing enough. It has 4 cold cathodes, 4 optical drives, 2 hard drives, 9 fans, a fan controller, a 6800, a athlon 3200+ at 2.5ghz and a vantec tronado to power. And it jsut cant handle all that while gaming.

So i figure hook up the lights and geforce 2 a second dedicated power supply and it will take the load off of the main one. Anywho thanx for all your help.

Another option that I've used is to get your hands on a 200W - 250W AT power supply to power the fans and lights. That leaves the cleaner power for the mobo and components.
