| Hey guys, I enjoy listening to the radio, but I want to be able to listen to it on my computer. I would like to be able to tune to both Am and FM, and I mean local stations; not internet radio things. How would I accomplish this? Is there a PCI radio card or a 5.25" device that acts as a radio tuner? I haven't had much success finding anything, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, did I put this in the right spot? Feel free to move it, Ijust didn't know where else it would go. Thanks! | ||

| I checked my stash and theyre gone - musta left with a whole bunch of ISA boards I sold one of the other pimps. No real loss tho as they were FM only and no XP drivers. In fact, I don't think ANYBODY supports AM on the PC ... FM, XM, but no AM. Is there a frequency issue or just no perceived demand? I know some people would like to time-shift AM stuff.... Anyhow... -MF | ||

I'll let my homeboys know about RadioShark .... Now I gotta find that PC-XM dingus again. Think Tiger? had them at one point. -MF | ||

| Lets kill the revenue stream because of recording? Oy vey! (begin type=RANT) The Digital Rights Management people are gonna have to get something through their collective pointy heads - if its ever decrypted [and it must be so it can be listened to], then its recordable, digitizable and distributable. End of story and nothing changes that. (end //Rant) You can still get the XM-PCR on eBay - wonder if there is software from a thirdparty? -MF | ||
