Hi guys,

My new mobo has RAID features so i want to add another HDD but i need to know is it 'plug and play' or do you have to configure BIOS or windos to exept it?
Sorry if its a bit endescriptive im a bit of a loser at this

RAID must be configured in the BIOS.

If you just want to add another HDD, then it's PnP. However, if you want to RAID-0 your two HDD's then you're going to have to start over on a fresh install to actually RAID-0 them.

Just read up on it in your manual for the mobo, or just search on google for setting up your RAID.

Also if you have raid on your mobo its possible to setup a software raid in windows. Good luck in either one you choose to do.
