fuzzy monitor

my monitor makes everything fuzzy and it looks good when i use another monitor. i've tried degaussing is there anything i can do besides new monitor?

I sense you have a CRT moniter. My dads is the same way, kinda fuzzy when i look at it, I myself picked up a Viewsonic LCD moniter and i love the clarity. Yes it could be goin out.... but im not totally sure.

What is the make and model? What vid card are you using with it?

if your running it at its ideal res and refresh then the focus might be a little off. there should be little pots or coils that you can adjust to focus it and even correct convergence. but that might mean you have to take the cover off to get to the adjustables. if its a shadow mask monitor they are always like that. go buy a trintron or lcd then
