| Apex Tech Fanatic Supreme | A friende of mine recently ordered a shuttle case. I was wondering since they have such a low power supply like 200watts - 300 are shuttle powersupplies different than normal ATX form psu's? (not talking about physical size) | |

| Well, they're not ATX power supplies, and thus you don't have as much room to cram in all the stuff, so it has to be lower wattage. But, like NoSlak, I've heard that they have plenty of power and from all reviews I've seen I definitely think that if I were to get an SFF now, I'd go Shuttle. | ||

| Shuttles use U1 rack server PSUs normally if memory serves me. My current "SFF" rig is a Antec Aria - I like knowing I can upgrade my computer and "1337" mod isn't just using a 120mm case fan and adapter on the back. I got three 120s in my Aria and can use a Artic Cooler VGA silencer without hacking out the side. | ||

| Not quite 1U later, they're a proprietary dimension, but they seem to be pretty close and plenty effective. I've got one here running a Slim DVD, 2 led fan, 1 HDD, 512GB machine, not sure how hard it's pushing the PSU but I've had nary a problem. For cases where you need the size of a Shuttle PSU, you'd be hard-pressed to overdo it... LOL | ||

| Apex Tech Fanatic Supreme | His case came in today at my house, no cpu yet. I tried to talk him out of getting a shuttle and getting a regular cs/mobo but he didn't want that. After looking at the case it seems like something I would want to get when I go away to college. | |

| Ive got my shuttle case w/PSU and as far as ive taken it (only duron 1600) its really hasnt slipped up. I know some reviews have used the 5900 MSI card and 512/1024mb ram and still the machine sees no limits. The 6800 will obviously be a problem for the Shuttle. I dont know wether the low power consumption of the other components in the system will compensate for such a power hungty beast, but time will tell. | ||
