Default So what do I do now?

When I was gone yesterday my roomate got on my mmain machine to install a game, something went wrong with the install, so he started poking around the case and unplugged my C drive while the power was on and in windows, then plugged it back in, and when he did so a spark came from my 380W Enermax Coolergiant.

I don't have any of the packaging and who knows what box the reciept is in since I just moved...
What can I do? Can I send it to Enermax or do I void the warranty, open it up and just hope its the fuse? What would you do?

First, I'd rip his balls off and staple them to his forehead for that level of stupidity.

Second, I'd be requiring him to pay for it ALL.

Third, I would power off the system, flip the switch a couple of times, and then try it. It works if I get a spark....

I would make him pay all the rent for the next 3 months.

Then I would staple his balls to my road bike and drag him around a bit.

Locks on your case & door would be a Good Thing too ... failing that, just handcuff him to a radiator or something while you're out.

Can you persuade your roommate to sign up for PR so we can all insult him some more?

This has happened to me, uh I just disconnected the power supply for a while and came back and all was well.

However, if the PSU does not have overload protection (it should) you are screwed.

You may have fried a voltage regulator.

LOL! hey J-Dogg, why do we have almost the exact join date, yet you have 3,000 posts and I have 700?
