Default Antec 550 Power Supply Woes

Shot myself in the foot and need help. I put sleeving on the wiring harness and think I hosed it bad. It won't start my system where it would before I put on the sleeving. I cut the connectors off and put the sleeving on, then reattached the molex connectors. I think I might have switched some of the black wires. Would that matter? Other than that, the yellow and red wires are in the right spots. Can I get a diagram or does anyone have any ideas how to get me back on the right track? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

umm... is the ATX connector messed up? Or is it just the 4-pin molexes you have wrong?

It is just the molex side. I left the atx side alone as it already was sleeved.

It doesn't matter on those black wires, they go to the same spot inside the PSU. You'll need to look elseware for the problem. How did you reconnect the wires?

I soldered them all and used heat shrink tubing on all the connections. I have since bought a molex removal tool. A little late, but way faster!

Have you tried "jump" starting the power supply by shorting pins 3 and 4 - this will allow you to start it without it being attached to the system. This would rule out the rest of your components. I know it sounds unlikely that anything else would be the problem but really strange coincidences have been known to happen. I do this with EVERY computer I build before I even put a component in the case......

Its the green number 4 pin and any black. There is only one of two possible problems here:

1) You didnt solder the connection correctly.
2) You blew a fuse.

Either one of these is fixable though number 1 would require you to go through all of your connections.

What does the PSU do when you try to boot? Does the fan in the PSU spin?

I am going to try your suggestion this weekend and will post what happens and what it is doing if it doesn't boot up. The box just wasn't powering on, and it was b4 I messed with it.
