I need the smartest guys or girls out there for help

I am planning on investing in some new RAM....

I am going to get 512mb DDR PC3200

which is the best brand.....i dont need to overclock....what does the Latency mean...what does it do..and what is better the lower or higher number.

Thanks..i need this info because i just got an abit nf7-s mobo and want some kick ass ram...

If you have a barton with a 333mhz fsb, you only need PC2700, it'll save you a bit, but it'll give you no headroom if later you decide if you wanna overclock.

Lower latency is better.

I don't know what's the best, but I have GeiL and I like it.

Bang for your buck, GEIL Ultra Platinum PC3200 (2x256) 2-3-3-5 Ram,i got that running 2-2-2-11, im not going to explain memory timmings becuase im affraid il just complecate things, perhaps someone could find a website?

Kinghston hyperx and mushkin 222 special both get timmings around 2-2-2-5-1T if you get the right pc3200 ram..
