You should try cleaning it with alcohol, if that doesn't help it I would return it for another one.

Mine sticks too. It will be really hard to push and then it will work fine for a while after a nice "CLICK" vs the quiet normal noise.

They probably do, and if not, try it anyways, most places takes it back if you replace it with the same item.
Heck we took a shower head back to Wal-mart, after 2 years of use - no receipt , and they still replaced it LOL

I had a similar issue with a mx510. It would stick and make an aweful scrapping noise when clicking on the left side. I called up logitech support and explained the situation to the rep.

The noise it made was loud enough that the rep could actually hear it through the phone. He of course was apologetic and replaced the mouse free of charge. When i mentioned about returning the defective mouse, he said dont worry about it.

It was like KEWL! So i cracked it open, found out why it was making that noise and fixed it.

Nothing wrong with having your cake and eating it too......

Now that i wrote a novel on this.....

If you contact logitech they might do the same for you. It's worth a shot of course......
