| Apex Techie I | It was not my intention to be rude and I do appreciate any attempt to help it just that an ebay search for something like that results in a huge amount of the exact opposite of what I want along with various other garbage. After a long self search for it I became frustrated and perhaps that shown in my post somewhat and for that I am sorry. and I would like to take this chance to thank everyboady who replyed Anyway Thank you that dose appear to be the device I would like It allows me a connect A SATA drive up to an IDE cable correct? | It seems that (since I just bought the exact opposite), they come in two forms: There's one type which is designed to slap against the back of a CD drive or similar, and it converts an IDE drive to SATA. The IDE and SATA sockets are usually perpindicular to the circuit board. The other is designed to plug into an IDE motherboard socket, and the plugs are parallel to the board. | ||
