Default Power supply calculator question

I am in the process of building a new rig and have a question about

eXtreme Power Supply Calculator Lite v2.5

I plug in all my values but don't understand capacitor aging. I appreciate it if someone can enlighten me about this.

My system will probably be
AsusP5E mobo, Intel quad core Kentsfield processor Q6600, a high end video card, a tv tuner card, and 4 to 8 gigs of memory, plus a single sata hard drive and two optical drives. I'm figuring on approx 750 watt psu.

Yhe capacitor aging variable makes a big difference in the final value psu needed. Thanks for any answers.

Four words for ya:

GOOGLE

IS

YOUR

FRIEND...

I managed to find those four within the first two pages of results, with only "Capacitor Aging" as my search term, and a general idea that it had something to do with PSUs...

I wouldn't worry about capacitor aging. All PC parts wear out eventually, so it's likely something else will die before your PSU.

Thanks for the help. As I am now just starting to study for an eventual CompTIA A+ cert. I have just enough knowledge to get myself in a lot of trouble. Your knowledge and guidance is a gift.
