Lag whenever I see someone in CoD4...

Well, lately I've been playing a lot of CoD4 and there's this annoying problem. It seems like whenever I see someone from the other team I just get a split second of lag. The weird thing is, is that it doesn't do it when I see someone from my team, only the other team. I remember having this problem with CS:S but it eventually went away... I'm just wondering, is it the server or is there a problem with my wireless? I have a linksys wrt54gs router and a linksys wireless card.

My friend has wireless and he has the same problem but thats in cs:s, The problem in cs:s can be fixed by entering the correct rates. I dont know if their are rates in cod4 but i would look into it, Best luck.

We have 4 servers up and running for COD 4 and 2 servers for COD2 and the only time i see any kind of lag is usually when i see some one with a crazy higher ping of more then 200 on, other then that i have not seen to much lag on any of our servers..

You also must remember where the server is setup and out of that your playing on they could be having issues and need to restart there servers, Our servers are all out of Chicago and i get a ping around 60 to 70 on COD4 and COD2 i get a ping of 50 and i live roughly 900 miles from Chicago which is a really good ping be that far away.
