| Hello all, putting BE together and I ran into a snag... I have a lite-on dvd-rw sata drive, and a asus p5k-e wifi mobo. sata works, the other hard drives are working fine, system boots up, but it isn't recognizing my optical, so I can't really install drivers for anything (barring desecrating Names a bit more for an IDE drive) Any suggestions, or should I get to dismantling? ![]() Thanks in advance. | ||

| If you download and install the drivers for it will it recognize it? Other than that are your cables secure? and do you have multiple sata controllers on the motherboard? Some controllers don't always recognize SATA drives. | ||
