| Not really, but if you think about it, the more sticks you have, the more chances one of them will perform worse than the other 3. Also, most 256MB modules are single-sided, which perform on par with 2 DS ones, but if you can manage to find double-sided 256 modules you should get a slight performance increase as opposed to 2 DS 512 MB ones instead. Yes, that would be true, especially for overclocking. However, all the usual suspects right now (canterwood, springdale, NF2) are dual channel. So, unless you are buying an older mobo without dual channel, 2 x 512 would be better than 1 x 1024. | |||||||||||||||||||||
