| I am having problems with my vapochill case. I am switching all my previous working hardware into this brand new vapochill case. I was able to install all the parts as directed my the vapo manual. My problem is when I power up, the cpu gets cooled down to -5c and then will attempt to boot up the cpu. However, when the cpu trys to boot up, the system will shutdown and restart it self over and over again. Has anyone else have this problem? | ||

| As i am not faminiar with the Vapo itself, i am faminilar with that happening. it sometimes happens when the CPU fan header has nothing pluged into it, meaning it is looking for the RPM signal and not seeing it and then decided that there is no fan there, and to prevent the CPU from burning up it shuts down the system....Just a thought.... Anyway what part of OH are you from? Charlie | ||

| I have the PSU's fan plugged into the CPU fan controller pins on the mobo. So their shouldn't be no problem their. I also checked all the jumpers on the mobo, and they are connected correctly. My monitor will get no signal because when the cpu attempts to boot it will last less than a second. Therefore I can not check the bios. I live in Auglaize county in ohio. ____ edit I just unplugged the PSU fan from the CPU fan slot, and plugged in my tornado into the cpu fan slot...and my system still won't boot up. | ||

| Disable auto-detect CPU fan in the bios. If your PSU fan doesn't have a yellow sensor wire the comp will not correctly detect a CPU fan. As Chrome stated, that is classic "no fan" symptoms. Either that or you fried your CPU. I lost one when I first set up my Vapo. | ||

| Lokie's Personal WU-Hoe | Also, if the fan RPM is not high enough that may also cause a problem. I have my PSU fan plugged into the header and it reads at 2200 RPM when monitored but during boot up the motherboard refuses to accept it. So, all I did was hook the RPM monitoring cable of the Tornado I was using, went into the bios, and then disabled the FOC(fan off control). The option should be where the temps of everything is (PC Health for mine). [edit] lucky 777 post! | |

| As I stated in a previous post, I did connect my tornado into in to the CPU fan sensor. The PC still did not boot. BigAkita, I can not get into the bios because the pc will reset a second after the Vapochill case reaches the defualt -5c. I am also hoping that I did not fry my XP2400. But its a possibility. Another thing the nags me in back of my mind is that my vaporchill unit came with two vapochill cards. One was already installed in the case. Maybe I should try swapping them and see if it will let me boot up. | ||

| Lets iron out the simple (but possible) mistakes: Do you get any video at all on boot up? Are both the ATX 20-Pin and 4-Pin connectors hooked up to your motherboard? Does the GPU fan spinup? Does the HDD spinup? Any beep codes? If motherboard has two-digit diagnostic onboard; any codes? Tornado fans don't have RPM sensors to my knowledge, and PSU fans spin so slowly that they may not be detected so I suggest you hookup a standard 3-Pin fan with RPM sensor lead to the CPU_FAN header. | ||

| No video will boot up. The 20 and 4 pins are connected directly to the chillcontrol card..from there the cable is connected to the motherboard. Otherwise, the pc would boot up and fry my cpu since the vapo will have no juice. The GPU fan does spin for one second. The HDD does spin No beep codes. My tornadoes do have a RPM sesnors that have 3 pin connector. I was able to monitor the speed on my previous setup in a normal case. Yes one was connected to the CPU_Fan header. | ||
