router firewall

i have a wiereless router MR814 and when i run the admjin controls i cant turn of the firewall which i think it is or anything.
I want to host a server on a computer but people cant get in. I have to use port 20001 but i dont know what to do. Please help.

Is there an option to open/route ports?

See if your router has the option to run DMZ. Usually all you have to do is put in the network IP of the server in the DMZ list and it runs as if it weren't behind the router.
