| Apex Tech God  |  ratarded DVD PLAYER! GRRRRRR ok heres my new rig Anthlon XP 1800+ OC'ed to 2400+ 512 mg pc3200 ram 40 gig 7200 rpm 2 mg cache Radeon 9600 pro 16x DVD I put in any DVD and i can start it in either Windows media player or ATI DVD player and it freaks after 2 seconds and the WHOLE computer locks up. I tryed de-clocking the anthlon to no avail. Please help...... ME! | |

| PCApex's Mouthy Stepchild  | Usually, (at least with PowerDVD) it uses hardware acceleration by default, and sometimes with that enabled it'll lock up. it happened to me, i turned hardware acceleration off in PowerDVD and dvds worked fine. Got new drivers, issue was resolved  | |
