yes. It has too, otherwise there are legality issues

EDIT: Technically, it would be alright if the nforce2 never said it followed the AGP 8x standard, but since it does, it would be illegal for it not to allow ATi's cards

No, they only allow SiS cards to be run on nforce2 boards. Any other, and the card catches fire.

pfffft, you can get around that minor problem of non-sis cards catching fire with a small hardware mod all you need is a bucket of water, several screw drivers, an outlet, and ...very important... duct tape

It sure does support ATI if it didnt it would have that little Microsoft not supporting Netscape Navigator thing where they had to go to Federal court, Anti Trust I belive its called where you make something new and then make it so it does not support your competition so you monopolise the market.

And an ati tv tuner card.

no, you have to self-install an MCA and ISA interconnect on your mainboard, then install drivers for a winmodem, superglue the offending ATI video card to your ass, then kiss it goodbye...
