| PCApex's Mac Man  |  sad-top Oh no looks like I've hit a huge delima... While AS5-ing my ibook following the ifixit.com guides I put my computer back together and nothing happens I'm pretty sure the power switch header is broken (no visable signs but it wiggles) so my ibook doesnt turn on... So here are my options... try shorting or resoldering the switch send it in to a local shop (costs $52.75 just to look at it, and I've voided the warrenty) all else fails... new mobo = $600... (the CPU and GPU are soldered in) Anyone here Apple certified and could give me some hints or know where to go from here? o man this is goin to hurt... a lot and I just spent $80 on a G4 tower (killer deal) | |
