Default agp....

I have a mobo with an agp 4x slot with a video card that uses 8x/4x agp. So right now its at 4x. Will changing the mobo to one with an agp 8x slot make a significant difference in video performance? If so how much?

Oh, and do they make rdram mobo's with 8x agp?

Thanks in advance....

No, it will not make any performance difference. Sometimes a vid card may even do a small percentage worse in 8X AGP mode. Now I don't know if they make RDRAM mobos with 8X AGP, but RDRAM has almost died out, and it doesn't matter anyway

Get a 875P motherboard with Dual DDR. Yes they all have AGP 8X i think, but in the future stay away from RD RAM, Intel doesn't officially support it any longer.
