| Banned | It seems everytime I restart my pc, my bios like sot reset itself, getting rid of my oc settings. It does give the option to save your settings, but thats useless since I have to reset it each time. I get the "3.8" error, which sint really and error, it states "Your power supply is plugged in" Wtf? Gotta get my bios to stop reseting, jumper is in the right spot btw. | |

| Are you sure the settings are completely stable? I notice certain boards are realy picky and will reset if they find something they don't like, even if they pass stress testing (Prime 95,OCCT etc..). Try a very mild OC and see if it still happens. You can also try updating the Bios (#20 looks to be the latest) I use Winflash and do it in Windows, but it can also be done with a floppy disk, or Abit may have a software utility. http://www.abit-usa.com/downloads/ http://www.abit-usa.com/downloads/bi...e=Fatal1ty+AN8 http://forum.abit-usa.com/forumdispl...c&daysprune=-1 http://forum.abit-usa.com/ You also may find that there are "Quirks" involving certain jumpers on the board, or possibly the "Guru" OC software, I sent a link to the forums at Abit, you might be able to find more specific info there in the archives. | ||

| No..what I mean is there might be some conflict with it, Digi had a AN-7 with it and it seemed like there was some kinda issue with it. I can't remeber if it was something to do with a jumper setting, or something in the Bios you had to enable/disable, but it gave me fits! | ||

| I remember reading a few PSU threads recently, they kinda start to blur together after a while They are often a place people think they can save money, but it usually is the worst place. Anything under 100$ is a gamble normally for stock to mild overclocking..they are cheaper cause they don't use the expensive heavy duty components. OCZ 520 SLI (150$) is in my current rig and it ROCKS, better than my 250$ PC Power and cooling 510 SLI that blew a cap after 2 months! It has adjustable rail voltages that I tweak above spec just a little, and is rock steady after 6 months of heavy duty use. | ||
