Well I'm planning on making a computer.. but my parents wont let me unless the currecnt computer is messed up (long story).. Red::Heaven told me to come by here and ask if any of you guys would know. Is there a way to destroy my computer but not phyiscally meaning taking a hammer and banging the crap out of it.. i mean is there a virus that not even formating can clean or or like a way to mess up my motherboard or any other way that is safe for me but not so good for my computer... IM EVIL

Thank You...

while your computer is on, unplug the power cord from the hard drive and make sure that you aren't touching anything conducive. That will fry the hard drive and possible something else.

so when you do this do it when it can't obivisouly be traced back to you.

there is a virus that can screw up your bios or hard drive. (you could screw up your bios)

what kind of computer is this??

EDIT: i did use it for its normal use, works great, i didnt know there was that much dust in my heatsink..ewwww

And i also want to know what kind of system it is, if its decent might want to do something that you can salvage a bunch of it

Nevermind was answered while i was typing, modle number makes all the diffrence leave it alone

i know, take the bios out (can you on a dell? you should). Then hook it up to a the biggest battery you can find (and no not a D battery) that will mess it up real good.

no no, i meant the power cord to the hard drive itself. You could cause some injury to yourself by doing that, but when the computer is on and you unplug the hard drive power cord that will fry the hard drive as well as something else probably.

yep, hook that up to battery. Hopefully you can run so much current through the chip that the chip will be physically ok (not undamaged) but unreadable and unprogamable (probably safer too).

haha, if you can risk getting a little electricity onto your fingers then open up your case. Find hard drive and its power cable from power supply (4 cables going into a plastic piece). then turn computer on. then pull above mentioned power cable from hard drive (while computer is on).

you might see a sparks and hear it too. you will screw up your hard drive and possibly something else.

or you could try to search for viruses that can srew up your hard drive or bios.

or you can take your bios chip out of your computer and (somehow) hook it up to a big battery (car battery or something thats big with prongs). that will screw it up most definatly and the computer won't do anything. That way you can salvage those parts (even the mobo if you buy a new bios) for future use.

umm, i only said to leave the computer on while unplugging the hard drive power cord.

you can't take the bios out while the computer is on with a serious risk of hurting yourself somehow.

EDIT :: only take the bios out while the computer is off then hook it up to some batteries.

i was planning on disconnecting all my fans and covering up my case with any opening and leave it for more like 5 or more hours.. will that burn the computer?

Yes. you could overheat your computer that way.

Dells are too hard to get at the hsf for what it's worth.

put tape over all the fan ducts and then put a blanket over it and run at night. I don't know how long it will take, but it will fry over heat the hardrive or the cpu or something.

if you can get to the heat sink fan, try unplugging the power cord so that the fan doesn't turn on (or do it while the computer is on). that would work much much much better than a blanket, and a blanket might not even work.

This is stupid. You want to destroy a computer for no apparnt reason just so your PARENTS can buy you a new one? that is ****ed up man

A Dell 8200? That has some high end parts if im not mistaken, at least a 2Ghz P4.... RDRAM... Do you know how many people here would kill for a computer that fast... Some of us run on slow ass POS's , but are happy to have what we can afford.

You want to buy a new RIG? but mommy and daddy wont cough up the money? HOW ABOUT SAVING UP and buying one!

grow up

i told him to send it to me.

Look at it this way scape, if it wasn't for people like this that buy new hardware for no good reason then the prices on new hardware would never fall.

EDIT :: I'd even pay for shipping
