| I flashed in Windows to Bios 1.6 yesterday and my temps are now 10 degrees C cooler . I know they had probs with accurate temp reading before but come on 10C cooler ??? So with a Barton 2800 OC'd bout 300 mhz I am running average 29 C, THEN what Abit and my SLK-800 is tellin me is that I have loads of more head room to OC ??? *waits patiently for the Knowledgable ones and AntiM to reply* ![]() | ||

| According to CPU Database.com, the highest O/C on your proccessor is 2505MHz w/1.75 vCore and a VAPOCHILL PE for cooling. O/C using multiplyer for more stability, or FSB for more performance (but risk of O/S curruption) I do not know what to consider a max as but I think 2400-2500MHz is attainable | ||

| Nice temps with that SLK NoSlak. With the weather in Phoenix my comp boots at close to that. That highest for the 2800 seems kinda low TekXoid. I hit 2578 with my 2600 and had room left over. http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=6655178 Crank it up NoSlak...watch your load temps carefully though. Idle temps can stay fairly low even at a high overclock without a load. Try something like UT2K3 once you think you're stable to see if you really are stable. It will let you know fairly fast if your not. | ||
