Question Need Help With i875P MB Selection

I wanted to know what all you guys recommended for a motherboard that uses the new Intel 875P Chipset. I have been mainly looking towards getting one of these two MSI 875P NEO boards. But there are others out there and I am not sure who has had the best results. For example there is the DFI LanParty PRO875 i875p Or also, the Asus P4C800 Deluxe i875P

I have heard great thing about the MSI boards specifically. Like its powerful overclocking abilities and most say there is nothing to complain about except a few bios errors that will most likely be fixed up.

I have a Pentium 4 Northwood 2.0ghz 400fsb CPU
Also I plan to take immediate advantage of the dual channel memory and get a pair of Geil Golden Dragon DDR400 256mb sticks. I am worried that the DDR400 wont run at 400mhz with my processor though. The site for MSI says that u must have 800fsb in order to run them at 400mhz, but some have told me that I may be able to get them running at 400mhz.

Well, I found a review of the Asus Deluxe and it has benchmarkign tests comparing all 3 of the above mentioned boards. http://firingsquad.gamers.com/hardwa...ew/default.asp

It seems that the Asus is the fastest ont he market right now but it is more pricey than the MSI. However, the review mentions that Asus is gonna release a cheaper version that will be a non-Deluxe model that omits the external RAID and FireWire controllers, but those boards havenÂ’t hit retail yet.

MSI has already done this by releasing the FIS2R and LSR.

One thing that I dont like about the Asus is the rather plain design. With my window kit and such it will not compliment a custom system. the MSI and LanParty boards are both very nice looking.

Let me know what you all think too.
