| Apex Techie Wannabe | Hey, I was thinking of putting a strobe light in my case and hooking up to my hard drive activity light, so it flashes when the drive is being used. As I do not know anything about electrictiy, I would appreciate any advice that I could I recieve. Thanks, Dave | |

| moreily, just a word to the wise, i do alot of work with lights and special effects and just wanted you to know that a strobe will get crazy hot if left on any length of time. so just keep in mind that you will want a way to turn in of when you're doing things like defrag, or anything with constant disk activiity. you might be better served just hooking up a bunch of superbright white LED's to your harddrive monitor, as the drive it self will make them flicker pretty fast. | ||
