| well if u did achieve 2.5GHz with Ocing from 1.43 i think thats the max throttle you can get... but if a 2.08 Ghz is boosted.. ithink it will get max around 3.0Ghz... ITS ONLY A PREDICTION it would be better if a colleage actually had 1 and tried our lil experiments. | ||

| Hardware Geek, time for a little education from Professor Rivington (me): Do not repeat post to correct yourself, use the edit button on the post that you want to change, it will allow you to re-edit your post. Do not repeat attachments if you already had a post, you can edit that post and select to upload a new attachment. Repeat posts in sucession of 2 or 3 are considered n00b-like and suggest that you just want a high post count. You can delete any post you make, and if you start a thread you can delete the first post on it and the entire thread will vanish. Do not abuse these powers, I am simply informing you of them. Last but not least, good use of grammar and punctuation shows a professional touch and complete sentences are dropping by the day, try and use them too. Now back to your regularly scheduled posting... | ||

| Jeesh, you're anal about proper grammer and sentence structure and spelling, aren't you tekx? There. I did it. Didn't even take college to get me spelling. Maybe, GK can initiate a spell check feature for the forums. Sometimes reading clowns posts, I go cross-eyed. ![]() EDIT: Just saw Eek's post. Go for the 1700+ tbred "B" core, code JIUHB. Cheaper, more performance, and the money you save can go to a kick ass Abit or that board BA got.. | ||

Ouch...pwn'd...nice rig BA... I built a 2400+333 box for my nephew...that thing was pretty quick...I was impressed with it's performance...I have a 1600+ @ 1800MHz that's really zippy too...Is it just me, or do AMD's just 'feel' faster? I'm using a 2.4c with 800MHz FSB at work here and it doesn't 'feel' as fast as my 1600+... (maybe it's server 2000 vs tweaked xp pro) | |||||||||||||||||||||
