Default nothing happens with new mobo

i plugged everything in and go to start the new computer and go to turn it on and nothing happens, i was thinkin maybe the power supply or could the mobo be dead? how would i test these?

im begining to think its the psu, its a no-name brand (zumax) and does not give any voltage out at all, im going to return it and grab a deal at newegg for a 550w antec, i just hope nothing elese got messed up (mobo) becuase of it.

sometimes if its a new PSU and a fresh case, you just have to hit the power button like 10 times in succession quickly, and ull get it working - after which it should continue
