Question Asus A7N8X-LA---AGAIN!!!

Whats the deal, Asus dont even list this MoBo on their support site (perhaps they disowned it). Does anyone have any info on the connectors for this board. Also, in its original case (HP Pavilion) there is only 1 (one) case fan!!! How Do I connect the 5 on my new case (400w psu)

Beings that it was in a hp case, I would say asus did the board just for hp and hp is supposed to provide tech support. As for how to connect the fans on your new case. The fans should come wired for 3 pin or 4 pin molex. if it is wired with a 4 pin molex connector just plug it into a empty connector from your psu, otherwise if it is wired for a 3 pin connector you can get a 3 pin to 4 pin molex adapter $2.50 from frozencpu.com or you should be able to get one at your local computer parts place. then you just plug the adapter in and hook it up to the fan. and in case you are wondering not all fans have to be run off the motherboard. Hope this helps out.

You will find on a lot of HP products the motherbpards they use are slightly altered from what you get at the Egg. ASUS seems to be a big supplier of them as I have seen the P4T in HP systems too.

That's the board I have right now...........You'll find that info at the HP site........As fars as the fans, I moved my system to a LIan Li PC-61 case and simply connected all the fans to a couple of 4-pin moldex connectors on the PSU.....
