Default New System. Compatbility Help?

I am wanting to buy a new system to assemble myself, cuz i havent made my own since the Pentium 2 days lol. IF you see below my harddrive from my old computer I am wondering if it is compatible with my new rig??

AMD Athlon 64bit 3500+
ASUS A8N-E Motherboard
1Gigbyte OZC Premier PC3200/400mhz DDR DC with heatsinks
Sapphire Radeon X800 256mb/256bit PCI-E video card

Salvaging:
Samsung 120gig (SV1204H) ATA/100 interface Hard Drive

So if any experts out there on harddrives can tell me if my MB and HD are compatible or not it would be appreciated. And hopefully the rest of the parts for my new rig are compatible??

as long as you mobo has an ide port (it does) your hard drive will work, although you would have to reinstall xp, or or do the registry hack

Awesome, now that its confirmed, I went out and grabbed the parts (lucky the store is round the corner hehe), and i got all 4 parts for a total of 828.99 CAD. Hopefully i can make about 200 bucks atleast off parts from my old computer (1.5gigs of ram PC100/133, 2.4ghz Intel HT P4, Intel MB, radeon 9200SE) bringing my total cost to 628 or less CAD.
