| Apex Master Tech Apprentice | My advice go with an Asus, Abit, Tyan, DFI, FoxConn or MSI for starters. Gigabyte is marginal but has awkward placement. Anything else, not worth the trouble. (Especially Albatron, Chaintech, Epox, ECS, etc.) I got suckered last time with an Alby board. Talk about a kludge. As far as a motherboard choice goes, the AW8-MAX by Abit. If you haven't bought the parts already, I'd definitely recommend HIS for the x850XT Corsair for a couple sticks of their XMS2 5400-UL (3-2-2-8) For the CPU, buy a 630 and overclock it. You'll get far more for your money. | |

Very prickish, but I completely agree. Stitchup, it's obvious you dont really know anything about computers, hardware to be specific. If you're looking to build a computer from scratch, I suggest you do some reading. If someone told me money was no object, and they didnt build an SLI system, I'd kick them until they died. Any system can handle any keyboard, it's just one of those things. Get a DL DVD burner, they're no more expensive, and deffinitely better. Why get a Dell sound system? Creative makes some awesome THX certified stuff. My 4 year old system will run all the Adobe software you have listed like a dream. I'm not trying to be mean, but if you truly have no financial bounds, do some reading, or god forbid, ask people, then make your purchases.

| Thanks to everyone who has helped me with this thread especially badmonkey. All those who have criticized me telling me that because i dont know as much about the hardware that im not a geek. Do i care? I think all you pessimists are forgetting one thing even though every one of you seemed to mention it in their thread. I love playing games which i believe gives me every right to question all of you in regards to your "comments". Even though i do not posess the knowledge some of you do out there it does not mean that i can not appreciate the beautiful graphics, gameplay and content of the games that i play. And remember, Live like no one has lived, die like no other and dance like no one is watching. | ||

You question was informed. This puts you head and shoulders above the numbskulls who think google is a waste of time. I'd recommend the Creative Labs X-Fi Platinum for your sound card. Bud, that involves a sledgehammer with Rob Zombie or Marilyn Manson albums played on the stereo and a whole pisspot full of glass bottles. ![]()
